About Taj

Taj has been teaching people to drive in Luton since 2010. His aim is simple: to make you a safe, confident driver for life, not just someone who scrapes through the test.

Before becoming a driving instructor, Taj spent over a decade planning, designing and maintaining networks for Virgin Media and British Telecom. He also holds a diploma in life coaching, along with mentoring and coaching certificates. That combination shows in his lessons: they’re organised, calm and centred on you.

How Taj teaches

  • Your pace. Lessons are centred on you, and you move on as soon as you’ve grasped a skill.
  • A clear structure. A full syllabus with regular updates on your progress.
  • Realistic goals. Regular reflection on your progress so your goals stay achievable.
  • Ready for pressure. Preparing you mentally and physically to drive calmly under pressure.
  • Mock tests. A feel of the real test before you take it.
  • The right test date. Agreed together after assessment, because too many attempts cost more and destroy confidence.
  • Theory support. Advice on the right resources for your theory test.
  • Reminders. A text the day before every lesson.
  • Local knowledge. The areas around the Luton, Leighton Buzzard, St Albans, Stevenage and Letchworth test centres.

Manual and automatic cars

Taj teaches in two dual-controlled cars, one manual and one automatic, so you can learn in whichever suits you.
